20 Daily Habits To Help You Manifest Your Goals
It used to be said that it takes 20 days to create a good habit. But new research has shown that it varies greatly by the individual. Some can develop a good habit in as little as 9 days, and for some, it can take up to 6 months.
Regardless, when you know how the Law of Attraction works, it will be much easier to create good habits. The following 20 daily habits will help you to manifest your goals more easily than ever before.
1. Hand-Write Down Your Goals
When you write down your goals by hand, you engage many different nerves and muscles as compared to typing them out into your computer. Writing down your goals sends a powerful message to your subconscious mind and the universe that this is what you want, as compared to just thinking about them.
2. Keep it a Secret!
One of the biggest problems that people make is when they tell others their goals too soon. The problem is when you tell someone your goal but they don’t believe in it. Their negativity can easily stop you from even trying to reach your goal.
What is the solution?
Don’t tell anyone about it at first. Wait until you are so far along with your goal that no one can stop you. And at that point, everyone you tell will have to admit that you’re going to make it!
There are exceptions to this. If you have someone you trust and who believes in you, then it’s okay to tell them. Just be mindful of the potential pitfall.
3. Think Good Thoughts
This may seem obvious, but when the going gets tough, you will be presented with a choice…
What is the choice? Whether to think a slightly better, positive thought next, or a slightly negative one. If you want to accomplish your goals, think the more positive one!
4. Stop Watching TV!
If you are serious about attaining your goals, you’re going to have to give some things up, like TV. Usually, TV watching is a total waste of time but the worst thing is that much of it is very negative – especially CNN!
5. Meditate
The whole purpose of meditation is to quiet your mind in order to raise your vibration – how you feel. It is probably one of the most important things you can do in order to reach your goals.
Why?
Because in addition to feeling better, you will set yourself up to receive new thoughts – new thoughts about how to reach your goals.
6. Eat Right
90% of your health is due to your thoughts, according to the teachings from the Law of Attraction. And 10% is from what you eat. But that 10% is still important too!
Eating a balanced diet and as organic as possible is a good idea. But what is most important is to feel good and enjoy your meals – even when you eat your favorite desert! Why? Because you’ll digest your food better.
7. Exercise
New goal attainment takes a strong mind and body. And the stronger both are, the easier and faster you’ll be able to attain your goals.
The trick to creating exercise as a daily habit is to pick something you enjoy. It can be walking, running, hiking, biking, swimming, tennis or whatever you enjoy.
Working out with weights can be included but it’s usually better to do that about 3 times per week as compared to daily.
8. Work on Your Goals Daily
This may seem obvious, but it’s worth discussing. Work on your goals daily, no matter how little time you get to do it. The problem with attaining goals is when we get into the mindset of, “Oh, I’ll do it tomorrow.”
Tomorrow will then become next week. Next week will turn into next month. And so on…
9. Visualize the Feeling
The best time to visualize the feeling of having met your goals is right after meditation. Remember, you must feel the feeling of having attained your goals before you actually have. That’s the way it works.
Set a timer for 5 minutes after your meditation, close your eyes, and visualize in great detail what it would feel like to have already attained your goal.
10. Ask for Help
You are not an island! And others are there to help. Ask, and you shall receive.
11. Learn to Say “No”
If you are going to attain new goals, something has to give. But it doesn’t have to be you! Learn to say “no” to things that you used to say “yes” to in order to have enough time to reach your goals. They’ll respect you and your goals more.
12. Break Down Your Goals
We covered this in another article. Basically, the way to attain any big goal is to break it down into smaller, attainable pieces.
13. Set Milestones
A milestone is simply a piece of the goal that has both an objective and a deadline. When you create milestones, it becomes easier to see how you can attain your goals.
14. Celebrate Milestones
When you accomplish a milestone, celebrate it! You’ll feel great, and you’ll program your subconscious mind to create more of that feeling.
15. Don’t Waste Time
This may seem obvious too but needs to be pointed out… One of the main reasons why people can’t accomplish their goals is that they waste too much precious time doing other things.
Analyze your time and see where you can be more efficient.
16. Value Your Goals
If you don’t value your goals, others won’t either and you will not accomplish them.
The key is to value your goals every single day – make it a daily habit.
17. Get into Nature
It’s important for all of us to get out into nature as much as possible. Nature has a naturally high vibration and when you immerse yourself into it, you’ll feel better and refreshed.
18. Take a Nap!
Taking a nap when you’re stressed out and feeling anxious is like pushing the reset button on a problematic computer.
It’s good for you. It raises your vibration. And you’ll feel better.
19. Trust the Universe
From the Law of Attraction perspective, the best thing you can do to attain your goals is to trust that the Universe is there to help you. Without that trust, it will be much, much harder. Trust it, and it will be easy.
20. Believe
Believe in yourself. Believe in your vision. See yourself attaining your goals, and you will. Believe, and you will achieve!
