Understanding the chakras system is very important because it actually supports the teachings from the Law of Attraction.
When you think a negative thought you can feel it in your body. But if you let that negative thought fester it will become a physical pain. A physical pain left unattended emotionally will then become chronic pain. Chronic pain will then become a dis-ease.
This explains THE TRUE SOURCE of all physical ailments and disease… What this means is that the real root-cause of physical pain and dis-ease is your disconnection to source energy. The Hindus and the Buddhists had this figured thousands of years ago…
The chakras system is the foundational teaching that well-being is your natural state, and that it’s mainly negative thinking that disrupts the energy flow.
Ancient Tradition Energy Explanation
In ancient traditional teachings, cosmic energy flows throughout all of the universe and also all through all of us. It is also referred to as chi or prana once it is in the body. In Sanskrit, the word chakra means wheel or vortex. It is believed that this spinning wheel of energy, when blocked, hinders us. And the belief is that when one of the chakras are blocked, the other ones are too.
Each one of chakras represents different levels of connection. The first three are more physical, and the top four are mostly spiritual. Now, let’s cover the 7 chakras and how to unlock them.
The 7 Chakras
1. Root Chakra
The first chakra is at the base of the spine. It is called the root chakra and it’s main function is to look after the spine, legs, feet, as well as your physical body. This chakra provides us with everything that we need to survive and prosper such as food, water, stability, security and physical energy. When this chakra is open, we typically feel safe and fearless. When it’s not functioning properly, we normally feel low on energy. We will also typically develop problems in our feet, legs, hip or spine.
How to Unlock Root Chakra:
Simply walking in nature is a great way to bring back balance to your root chakra. Or, meditation in nature. In addition, yoga is another great way to bring balance to your root chakra. Some say that eating more red vegetables like tomatoes helps too.
2. Sacral Chakra
This chakra is located just below your naval. The purpose of this chakra is to look after your bladder, kidneys, reproductive system and lower abdomen. This chakra deals with the emotional body, sensuality and creativity. It is the center of our feelings and sensations which in turn are the driving force for the enjoyment of our lives through the 5 senses. If this chakra is not functioning properly, then you might develop problems in your bladder, kidney, or pelvic area. Consequently, you may also find yourself struggling to find any sense of joy in your life.
How to Unlock Sacral Chakra:
Visualize yourself living your ideal life with everything you want without any guilt. Our physical world is the furthest extension of the spiritual. Enjoy it.
Also, pamper yourself! Take the time to buy, make and prepare delicious food and enjoy it. Do the same thing when it comes to love making, and also do something adventurous that will make you feel alive and connected to our physical world.
Any chakra that is blocked can block the other ones so don’t ignore this one.
3. Solar Plexus Chakra
The 3rd chakra is called the solar plexus chakra which is located in your stomach region. This chakra makes sure that your stomach, liver, intestines and digestive system are working properly.
The purpose of this chakra is to make sure we can live our lives in accordance to what we believe in. It helps us find direction in life and allows us to take the actions needed in order to reach our goals.
If your solar plexus chakra is out of balance you might suffer from bad digestion, liver, gall bladder and pancreas problems. You may also have trouble standing up for what you believe in, saying no out of fear of being judged, and you might even find yourself expressing your opinions in a defensive and angry manner.
How to Unlock Solar Plexus Chakra
This chakra is where your “gut instinct” resides. It is your intuition. Your inner-being is constantly talking to you through this chakra, so really, the only thing you need to do to unlock it is to listen to it.
Trusting your intuition is key to unlocking this chakra.
4. Heart Chakra
This chakra is located in the chest region. It’s job is to look after your heart, lungs, and circulatory system. This chakra also keeps your heart open and loving. When this chakra is open you will feel a deep sense of connection with everything that is around you. Forgiveness, empathy and love for oneself is also another benefit of having this chakra activated. As the name implies, this chakra is situated in the throat region. It’s job is to look after your throat, thyroid, neck and jaw. This chakra will essentially help you to find your true authentic and individual voice. This chakra is associated with having a good sense of timing and realizing your purpose. 6. Third-Eye Chakra
The 6th chakra is referred to as the 3rd eye chakra. It’s located in the center of the forehead between and above your eyebrows. This chakra looks after your brain, neurological system, eyes, ears and nose. This chakra also has the ability to unlock the power of the mind and therefore it can help teach us how to heal ourselves and also how to create our own reality. The 3rd eye chakra can give us vision, intuition and perception of subtle dimensions and movements of energy. In addition, it connects us to wisdom, insight and can unlock our psychic ability related to clairvoyance and clairaudience.

Sustaining awareness of the 3rd eye chakra energy might require some focus on our part and the ability to relax into a new way of seeing things. When we learn to truly focus the mind and consciousness itself, we can better see past the distractions and illusions of this world – the greatest illusion being that of separation since we are all one.
7. Crown Chakra
Lastly, we move on to the final chakra within the 7 chakra system which is called the crown chakra. This chakra is located at the top of the head and it’s function is to look after your upper brain and nervous system. The crown chakra give us access to higher states of awareness and allows us to tap into the universal consciousness. It helps us to awaken to the truth that we are powerful, spiritual beings having a human existence.
Imbalance in the crown chakra will result in closed-mindedness, being disconnected to spirit, living in your head and disconnection from your body and earthly matters. People who suffer from crown chakra imbalance may also develop neurological disorders, nerve pain, Alzheimer’s disease, insomnia, depression, recurring headaches and migraines.
How to Unlock Crown Chakra:
One of the best ways to unlock the crown chakra is through visualization. Imagine a small, deep-violet funnel at the top of your head, spinning clockwise. Then visualize it growing to about a foot wide. Next, imagine white source energy pouring through it into your body.
Also, any form of meditation can help you to unlock the crown chakra. And doing anything that inspires you will help to unlock it too.
The chakras system is the ancient teaching that everything is energy, and that well-being is our natural state. But our negative thoughts can create blocks within these centers which can manifest as illness, aches, pain and other problems too. This is why it’s important to become familiar with each one so that we can re-balance the whole system and attain proper equilibrium.
